My husband and I loved this place in the 'Low rise hotel'' district' because our room was right on the beach as were the restaurants and bars. The water was a beautiful turquoise and the sand was white. It was exactly what we wanted.
It's not fancy but it was clean and the food was great. Reservations were easy to make and since they are affiliated with the Divi, there were lots of choices. The shuttles came often to get us to the Divi but it was a short walk if we chose.
Some of the rooms had rocks on the beach, we stayed in the 2300 block and our beach was perfect.

The Tamarijn Aruba offers 236 oceanfront guestrooms in 14 two-story buildings (no elevators) spread out along the beach. Buildings are yellow-gold in color with dark-wood balconies. Rooms all feature ground-floor patios or second-floor balconies providing ocean views. Tropical decor features tile floors, white walls, ceiling fans, rattan furniture, and brightly colored fabrics.
